St. Andrews Academy

Under the direction of Head Coach Pippo Psaila, the Luxol Academy has established itself as the largest academy on the island, and one that caters specifically for the needs of kids today.

The mix of experienced staff coaches, coupled with first class facilities at the Luxol Complex, continues to ensure a valuable experience for the kids who attend our programs. Having established itself in 1990, the program has been enjoyed by thousands of kids, aged between 4 and 14 years since it’s introduction.

The program consists of an initial Early Touches program for 4 and 5 years old kids, and a Fun Football program for 6 and 7 year olds.

This is later followed by a rigorous streaming and selection process that has been designed and implemented to ensure that all kids have the opportunity to train and play with other kids of the same level of skill. We believe that this helps the kids develop maximum confidence and self-esteem. The streaming process leads to the division of the kids within the Nursery, Academy, Cadets and the School of Excellence. 

The St Andrew’s Academy program runs between the months of October and May, with an average of two to three sessions per week.
